The atmosphere was filled with joy and thanksgiving on Sunday as Engr. Omoyibo Daniel Elozino, popularly known as Danmotech, called on the people of Oleh Kingdom in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State to embrace forgiveness, peace and unity for the rapid development of the community.
Danmotech made the call during a special thanksgiving service held at The Apostolic Church, Oleh, which he personally built and dedicated to God.
The service, held on August 9, 2026, was organised to mark the thanksgiving of the former President-General of Oleh Kingdom, Chief Alakri Believe, and attracted notable sons and daughters of the kingdom, opinion leaders, community stakeholders and other prominent members of the Isoko nation.
Addressing the congregation, Danmotech urged the people of Oleh to put aside their differences and work collectively for the progress and development of the kingdom.
He particularly appealed to aggrieved parties in the community to forgive one another, while cautioning against what he described as defamation of community leaders and wealthy sons and daughters of Oleh.
“Let us forgive one another and work together in unity for the development of Oleh Kingdom. We must stop defaming our leaders and our wealthy sons and daughters. They are our strength,” he said.
He maintained that peace and unity remained indispensable to the sustainable development of Oleh, urging the people to protect and support individuals contributing to the growth of the kingdom.
The President-General of Oleh Kingdom, Chief Unuafe Believe, commended Danmotech for his philanthropic activities and what he described as his fatherly role in promoting peace and reconciliation among different groups in the community.
He expressed appreciation to the philanthropist for single-handedly building the church and for his continued contributions to the development of Oleh Kingdom.
A major highlight of the thanksgiving service was Danmotech’s financial donation totalling N21.35 million.
He donated N20 million to the former President-General of Oleh Kingdom, Chief Alakri Believe, in support of his thanksgiving, while he presented N1.35 million in cash to the church.
The gesture attracted cheers and commendations from worshippers and other attendees, who praised Danmotech for his generosity and continued commitment to the welfare and development of the community.
The event climaxed with a special prayer session seeking forgiveness, peace, unity and accelerated development for Oleh Kingdom and the wider Isoko nation.
The gathering also provided an opportunity for community leaders and stakeholders to reinforce the need for reconciliation and collective action in addressing issues capable of undermining the unity and progress of Oleh.
Participants at the service described Danmotech’s message as timely, stressing that forgiveness, peaceful coexistence and unity remained critical to unlocking the developmental potential of the kingdom.
